Mr. Crank is running for re-election against Jessica Killen who moved here from Washington DC for the purpose of targeting this stronghold conservative seat in El Paso County, the largest republican county in the state. Jessica was a member of the Biden administration and chief-of-staff to Kamala Harris' husband.

Crank has proven, demonstratable performance results contrary to what Ms. Killin claims and advertises.
Ms. Killin is now stating, "Then Crank gets to Congress and asks for a special waiver allowing him to take gifts from his lobbyist buddies behind closed doors."
Campaign Response:
This is a desperate attempt by a losing campaign to smear Jeff Crank. The gift disclosure waiver was obtained out of an abundance of caution, at the advice of counsel, and disclosed months in advance of his only daughter's wedding on May 12, 2025. Even with the waiver, he did not receive any gifts from "his lobbyist buddies" because no lobbyists were invited to his daugher's wedding to a Fort Carson soldier. Also, it's important to note the House Ethics Committee approved the waiver request, including Democrat Ranking Member Mark DeSaulnier (D-CA).
Policy differences that matter
Ms. Killin claims Mr. Crank did nothing for our Veterans, that there was no plan. However Mr. Crank's voting performance record demonstrates support of numerous bills--many of which the Democrats did not support. Would she have?
Ms. Killin's position on taxes suggests she would support tax increases.

On the subject of health care:
You may hear people say Jeff Crank kicked people off Medicaid. Actually... "Jeff Crank didn't vote to kick people off Medicaid, he voted for work requirements for able-bodied adults and more frequent verification checks. This protects the system for those that truly need it, and benefits will not change for those with disabilities or who have caregiver roles. The biggest reason so many Coloradans who actually need Medicaid are unable to access care is because Democrats at the State Legislature in Colorado have expanded the program so much that there isn't enough to go to those who truly need the help."
