There are 20 or so individuals that have entered the race. The following 4 are the ones that I have been hearing the most about and that have increasing levels of support.
Scott Bottoms, current/past state representative. He is running because of the critical challenges we face in our state. He is a pastor in Colorado Springs and a current state representative. Check out his website at https://www.scottbottoms.com/
Victor Marx
Victor is a Veteran and founder of "All Things Possible Ministries." He is running petitions for the primary ballot. If you'd like to sign, let me know and I can get you in tough with folks in our neighborhood running those petitions. Seems to be doing well in fund raising. He has a book out called "The Dangerous Gentleman--A call for men to be Courageous in a culture of fear." The forward was written by Charlie Kirk. Focusing on safety, affordability, and accountability. His website is https://www.victor2026.com/
Barb Kirkmeier
Barb is a 4th generation Coloradoan. She does not believe Colorado is destined for ongoing decline--bad decision-making by Colorado lawmakers (Democrats that have the majority) and Polis got us into this mess and continue their poor decision making, such as the current bill to decriminalize prostitution and the effort to destroy the energy sector which will leave us like a mini-California. There is some good material on her website about her record. See https://www.kirkmeyerforcolorado.com/
Jason Mikesell, current Teller County Sheriff
He joins the fight because of the current crises in our state around budget shortfalls, water policy, immigration, housing zoning issues, crime rates and even routine government functions. He states, "The real crisis in Colorado is the crisis of leadership." His website is https://www.mikesell4gov.com/
