6 Core Issues
Affordability and Taxes: Colorado families are squeezed by housing, insurance, healthcare, utilities, taxes, fees, and the cumulative cost of the last 20 years of state government decisions. Victor will require tranparency on TABOR and all new or increased fees.
Housing: Young families, teachers, first responders, workers, and seniors are struggling to find homes they can afford or remain in the homes they have LARGELY due to state regulations that have driven up the cost of a house by $140,000. Victor will enable housing to be built faster AND respect local communities
Public Safety and Drugs: Fentanyl, organized trafficking, repeat violent offenders, untreated addiction, mental-health crises, and chronic street disorders are overwhelming families, officers, and local services. We need to protect communities against dangerous actors. Victor will combine strong law enforcement, effective treatment and crisis capacity.
Education: Parents want safe schools, transparent curriculum, strong academics, respected teachers, and more pathways that lead to work, service, college, or skilled trades. Victor will put people ahead of bureaucracy and one-size-fits-all systems.
Energy, Water, Agriculture, Jobs: Colorado needs reliable energy, secure water, healthy farms and ranches, wildfire resilience, broadband, and good jobs in every region--not policies written only for Denver. Victor vows to protect Colorado resources while keeping energy affordable, and supporting rural communities
Government Accountability: State government spends billions of dollars, manages major contracts and programs, and imposes rules that affect every family, yet residents cannot see the system delivering for them. Victor vows to treat taxpayers as shareholders and require every agency to show the work.
