House District 14

Incumbent: Ava Flanell (R)

Republican Candidate:  Ava Flanell

Ava Flanell was voted in to fill the seat through the vacancy committee process.  Her term will extend until  Jan 12, 2027.   She is running in 2026 to earn the vote of the public for the next term. Ava is an impressive young professional, not tainted by party politics.  Her father is known as the "Dragon Man" and runs the ranges out east.  Ava is a strong supporter of 1st and 2nd amendment rights, runs two small businesses, has been a solid republican supporting core conservative values since she was 18.  Ava said she would fight for her constituents, and fight she did!!  During her first session at the state capital, Ava was told that she was at the most committees that killed the most bills -- that is a win and demonstrates that Ava has  grit and tenacity to work within the current environment of our state capital without sacrificing conservative values.  Ava believes in limited AND common sense government.  Ava is strong on parent rights, increasing affordability for housing and small business, is pro life, supports election integrity and stands strong with law enforcement.   Her website is:  https://avaforcolorado.com/ .  On her website, you can sign up for her newsletter where she summarizes the bills, how and why she voted yes/no.  The newsletter, as well as Ava's Facebook page, offer videos of her various testimonies.
