Background

Rose Pugliese earned a B.A. in sociology from Villanova University in 2000 and a J.D. from St. John's University in 2003. Pugliese's career experience includes owning the Law Office of Rose F. Pugliese, LLC and working as counsel with Wegener Scarborough & Lane, PC. She served on the Mesa County Commission 

Rose is a member of the Colorado House of Representatives, representing District 14. She assumed office on January 9, 2023. Her current term ends on January 8, 2025.   Pugliese was chosen as the Colorado House of Representatives Minority Leader on January 25, 2024. 

Positions:

   --As a parent of two, Rose knows first-hand the importance of parental choice and supports transparency in education and believes that parents are the best advocates for our children. 

   -- A strong community is a safe community. Rose supports our law enforcement officers  

   -- Rose came to Colorado because of TABOR. She thought that any state that allowed its taxpayers to vote on tax increases had to be the most free state. She sees those freedoms slipping away and fights against taxes disguised as fees and works to restore affordability for Colorado’s hard-working families.
